The planet Thundera in a universe far, far away is in trouble. The planet and its inhabitants face extinction due to the planet's structural instability and imminent disintegration. The planet's descendants (the Thundercats) manage to escape, but their spaceship isn't as lucky. When their transport vehicle is damaged at the hands of evil mutants, Jaga, the eldest member of the group, must risk his own life to ensure the Thundercats' safe arrival on their new home: the third planet.
