Assassin's Creed is a historical action-adventure video game franchise and series published by Ubisoft and primarily developed by its studio Ubisoft Montreal, using the Anvil graphics engine and its more advanced derivatives. Created by Patrice Désilets, Jade Raymond and Corey May, the Assassin's Creed video game series narrates a fictional millennia-long struggle between the Order of Assassins, who fight for peace and free will, and the Knights Templar, who yearn for peace through order and control.
