The Police

The Police were an English rock band formed in London in 1977. Its core members were Sting, Andy Summers, and Stewart Copeland. The band achieved worldwide popularity from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. Emerging from the British New Wave, their musical style combined influences from punk, reggae, and jazz. Their debut album, "Outlandos d'Amour" (1978), reached number 6 on the UK album charts and featured the singles "Roxanne" and "Can't Stand Losing You".
