Nirvana

Nirvana was an American rock band formed in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987. Founded by singer-guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic, the band had several drummers, including Chad Channing, before adding Dave Grohl in 1990. Nirvana's success popularized alternative rock, and the band was often considered the poster child for Generation X. Their music remains widely popular and continues to influence rock culture.
