The Notorious B.I.G

Christopher George Latore Wallace, better known as The Notorious B.I.G., Biggie Smalls, or simply Biggie, was an American rapper. Influenced by East Coast hip-hop and gangsta rap traditions, he is considered one of the greatest rappers of all time. Wallace became famous for his unique, laid-back lyrical style, which contradicted the often raw and harsh content of his songs. His music was partly autobiographical, chronicling tales of hardship and criminality, but also of debauchery and celebration. Biggie is widely recognized as one of the world's most influential rappers and has sold over 17 million albums in the United States alone.
