Space bum-for-hire Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) and his half-dog/half-man sidekick, Barf The Mawg (John Candy), must rescue spoiled Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) from the evil Lord Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis) in time to pay off Pizza The Hut. Meanwhile, the planet Druidia is being stalked by the Spaceballs, a sinister group led by The President (Mel Brooks) who are intent on plundering its primary natural resource.
