The Dark Knight (2008) from director Christopher Nolan continues the story of Batman (Christian Bale) as he resumes his war on crime. With the help of LT. Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), he sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham City for good.
