Batman: A Death In The Family #1 to #6

Description

"Batman: A Death In The Family" is a four-part story written by Jim Starlin and illustrated by Jim Aparo. Published in 1988 in Batman (Vol. 1) #426-#429, the story provides one of the most shocking developments in the Batman mythos when Jason Todd, the second Robin, is killed by Batman's arch-nemesis, The Joker.

The story is controversial in more ways than one, as it was the result of a social experiment by the producers of Batman comics with the public, where the public would have the final say on Robin's ultimate fate. The public chose to let the young wonder die, and thus, a legendary figure from comics was removed, bringing shock value and darker elements to the comic book industry as a whole.

This 6-issue collector's edition of the popular graphic novel features the following:

  • DC Comics' "Batman" series
  • 6 comics from Batman comics #426 to #429
  • Official DC Comics publication for Latin America
  • Spanish
  • Product Dimensions: 14.00 x 22.00 x 3.00 centimeters
